Modus Operandi awarded Missile Defense Agency contract to develop automated compliance assessment capability to monitor software code compliance with Movia™
MELBOURNE, Fla., April 4, 2023 – Modus Operandi, a company that delivers innovative software that harnesses data to empower smarter decisions, was awarded a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) contract to assess software in parallel with development per MDA requirements for software implementation. Modus Operandi will apply innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) approaches to analyze code, review the current codebase, and apply our extensive experience in using AI and machine learning (ML) to perform document content comparisons to standards.
Building on Movia®, Modus Operandi’s keystone knowledge management and decision support software, the ASSURE (Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Software SUbmission REquirements) tool will quickly identify when a software developer is compliant in accordance with MDA Assurance Provisions (MAP) requirements. The initial development of ASSURE was funded under the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program.
“ASSURE will enable the MDA to improve their code compliance process by automating software system monitoring,” said Andrew Toth, Modus Operandi president. “ASSURE technology will provide increased software proficiency and accuracy and set a solid codebase foundation. We are pleased that the MDA has selected the Modus Operandi team to support mission-critical functions.”
