MELBOURNE, Fl., January 7, 2020 –Modus Operandi, a company that delivers innovative software that harnesses data to empower smarter decisions, announced the promotion of Greg Rodgers to the position of Engineering Director of their newly formed Engineering Center of Excellence (ECoE) at the company’s headquarters in Melbourne, Florida. This restructured organization within Modus merges engineers across the company’s Products and Operations groups to foster engineering expertise throughout the company’s operations. The ECoE will enable the company to continue support to their existing customers in the defense and intelligence communities while expanding sales of their Movia® software into the consumer privacy market. In his new role Mr. Rodgers will provide the leadership needed to establish the ECoE with the right mix of people, process, product, and program focus. With expertise in semantic technology, user experience (UX), and human-machine teaming, Mr. Rodgers will lead the Modus ECoE in expanding the company’s portfolio of software products, solutions, and services to provide customers with living intelligence to empower smarter decisions.
Mr. Rodgers has most recently served Modus as a Capability Lead for the Products group. Prior to that, Mr. Rodgers provided leadership in the Engineering Department and as Principal Integrator and Program Manager for many programs at Modus. Prior to joining Modus in June 2014, Mr. Rodgers was the Software Manager for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System’s User Interface Team at Northrop Grumman where his UX expertise in requirements analysis, user profiling / grouping, personas, task analysis, wireframes, prototyping, and usability testing helped transform the practice of user-centered design across many Northrop Grumman Army contracts. Prior to that position, Mr. Rodgers was an engineer at Teledyne, supporting the Common Warfighter Machine Interface project for the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense program. Mr. Rodgers has a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Auburn University.
